Clay Sky Sage

Sessions

Clay sessions at Clay Sky Sage cover coil vessels, pinch studies, slab panels, and surface weeks in Utrecht. Each block lists clay fees, firing notes, and what to wear. Class size stays small for visible demos.

Handbuilding skills come before decoration. Thickness by touch, scored joins, and patient drying matter more than instant glaze drama. Optional critique slots are scheduled, never shouted.

Weekend and evening blocks rotate. Beginners and returning makers share tools with labelled racks. If you need wheel throwing, we will say when another studio fits better — we stay sculptural and workshop-led.

Request a seat with experience level. We confirm dates and material costs before you arrive on Bridge Street.

We keep the room calm, the schedule readable, and the conversation practical so visits feel easy to plan.

Appointments and walk-ins follow the same careful pacing: clear expectations, honest timing, and tidy follow-up notes.

Materials, tools, and finishing steps are chosen for durability in daily life rather than for showroom theatrics.
